About Lori
I didn't set out to become a travel advisor. I built my career in pharmacy — working my way into operations, compliance, and clinical leadership. But somewhere along the way, all those work trips turned into something else: airline miles, hotel points, and a growing passion for exploring the world.
Before long, work trips evolved into international adventures. I've ridden a camel past the pyramids in Egypt, climbed the Great Wall of China, watched Victoria Falls thunder in Zimbabwe, gone on safari in South Africa, wandered Machu Picchu in the Peruvian clouds, and hiked out onto an Icelandic glacier with my family in tow. From Japan, Vietnam, and South Korea to Prague, Australia, and the Dubai desert, I've learned that the best trips aren't about checking destinations off a list — they're about the details that make a place unforgettable.
That's what led me to earn my travel advisor certification and launch SmartTrips by Lori: combining firsthand experience in more than 35 countries with a genuine passion for helping other travelers plan trips they'll actually remember.
